These deposits can prevent proper airflow and fuel delivery, leading to incomplete combustion and increased emissions. Exposure of hot oil to hot metal, soot and carbon results in a chemical reaction that causes the engine oil to run away from the hot metal. This is accomplished by eliminating any soot and carbon accumulation from the engine through cleaning, followed by sealing the porous metal of the engine. Consequently, the engine oil can fulfill its intended function without departing from the hot metal, leading to an almost near perfect seal between the piston rings and the cylinders. This superior seal augments compression, stimulates more complete combustion, which in turn curbs emissions and amplifies the overall engine performance. This means better performance and reduction of unburnt exhaust fumes that is significantly noticeable by the deck crew giving them a healthier work environment which increases their performance.
